Journey of the dreamer
The winter season brings us the mythic Torah-portal of Joseph the Dreamer and Diviner. We’ll explore the essence of our rainbow coated mystic’s journey around the wheel of fortune from the clarity of his early dreamings to the darkness of pits and dungeons, and then to the heights of interpersonal power and profound forgiveness.
We’ll study the text with an ear for the secrets whispered in the White Fire. We’ll also set intentions for our own dreaming during the long nights of the season.

SHE IS A TREE OF LIFE
Come spend some time in the sacred field of the Queen of Heaven. The Hebraic ancestors of modern Judaism were deeply connected to the Goddess Asherah. This Great Creatrix was often represented by trees or carved wooden poles. The tree as a portal to divine connection is at the root of our tradition.
In this class we will learn who she was and how our ancestors might have related to Her. Come hear the voices of the ancient ones who resisted the supression of their devotion to Her as the Torah recounts them. Come and learn how she suffuses the lineage with Her presence and radiance .

Women’s Vocal Ensemble
This Autumn’s 7 week session begins October 21st. Featuring songs from Contemporary American Folk, traditional Bulgarian, Irish, and Yiddish traditions we will explore the joy of harmony and playful musicality.
Cost of the class includes a workshop with internationally acclaimed vocalist and composer (and one of my mentors) Moira Smiley. This Autumn’s ensemble will be a special one, rooted in reverence for each woman’s unique instrument.
